All dialogs should open in the middle of your screen since I set the location relative to null.
As you can see certain portions are blacked out at this time. Those are namely my company's logo and name. The look-and-feel you see is the JGoodies look-n-feel, which is compatible with 1.4.2. If you don't mind using 1.5, you can use Substance which many people find quite nice.
I'm not sure how to get the Gimp to take pics of tooltips, so I guess those will be in any demos/vids I can take.
